A 12-year-old boy from Lorain is missing and police are trying to find him.
Austin Lauer was last seen around 6 p.m. on July 17 after leaving a friend’s house, according to a department Facebook post. From Lorain Ohio.
MISSING JUVENILE: 12-year-old Austin Lauer
12 yr old Austin Arthur Lauer was last seen Sunday, July 17, 2022, around 6:00 pm. Austin left a friend’s house and is believed to have gotten into a white vehicle in the area of W/ 17th St. and Washington Avenue in the City of Lorain. Austin is autistic and does not have his medication with him.
Austin may be in Sandusky.
Austin is 5’7” to 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 145 Lbs.
He was last seen wearing khaki pants and either a red and blue striped shirt or a red and black striped shirt.
Police believe Austin got into a white vehicle in the area of W 17th Street and Washington Avenue in Lorain and said he may be in Sandusky.
The mother Sandra Lauer says that Austin was in residential and he stopped taking his medication and that Taylor and Tyler are telling Austin that his mother doesn’t love him now this is all that Sandra Lauer is saying. Sandra believes he is with Taylor and in her house. Sandra says this is the third time Taylor has tried to kidnap him.
He has been pinged from Taylor’s house on Instagram.

Austin is between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighs approximately 145 pounds, police said. Austin has autism and does not have his medication with him.
