Missing: Eleni Kassa

Eleni Kassa is still missing. Detectives are actively searching for her. The tag on the Dodge Charger she could possibly be traveling in was run in Ohio, but it wasn’t from a traffic stop. Kassa’s phone and personal car were still at her Murfreesboro apartment when detectives checked on Friday. Eleni Kassa, 31, was reported missing on Fri. Nov. 18 by her family who stated she failed to pick up her daughter from school.

Kassa has not been seen or heard from since the morning of Nov. 17. She could possibly be traveling in a black Dodge Charger tag number 7L87V2.

Kassa is listed in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database as missing.

If you see Kassa, or know where she is, please notify Det. Julia Cox with the Murfreesboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (629)201-5514.

On Monday, police say a license plate belonging to the car she might be in was flagged in another state.

A young mother of one Eleni Kassa has not been seen by her family since Thursday November 17, 2022. Eleni failed to pick up her daughter from school which is not a normal behavior for Elani. Her family became worried when Eleni did not pick up her phone and have since contacted the police.

Eleni is a responsible mother, supportive sister and loving aunt and we see no other reason but to suspect anything else but foul play.

“Since I was six, she was my responsibility, so I feel like I’m failing her right now,” Micky Ghirmay said.

The county police are involved, however as days, hours and minutes pass by we want to make sure we are using all resources available to find our sister. We are asking for your support in raising funds to hire a private investigator in hopes to increase our chances of finding our dear sister before any harm comes to her.

We appreciate your kindness,

“For her to go missing like that is very not normal,” Ghirmay said.

Eleni’s family says they became worried when she didn’t pick her daughter up from school on Friday — something that’s very out of character for Eleni.

“Since I was six, she was my responsibility, so I feel like I’m failing her right now,” Micky Ghirmay said.

Ghirmay, her brother, says they were always in constant communication until Nov. 17 when Eleni vanished, leaving behind her cell phone and car at her Murfreesboro apartment.

“She’s a wonderful mother, she’s a wonderful sister and she’s just everybody’s favorite person,” Ghirmay said.

The 31-year-old and her brother traveled to the United States in the early 2000s after their parents passed away..

“When I was six, my mother and father died. Eleni was three years old at the time, so I remember holding her hand, telling her our mother would come back,” Ghirmay said.

Now, all these years later, he feels as if it’s the same story. “So now I’m holding my niece trying to distract her out of those,” Ghirmay said.
