Missy Bevers
Missy Bevers lived a normal life, she shared a home in Texas with her three daughters and her husband. In 2015 Missy began teaching fitness classes with the Camp Gladiator program. April 17th of 2016 Missy enjoyed a day off while her husband was out fishing. She went to bed early that night though because the next day she had a class to teach at 5 am. This was pretty common for her to teach classes that early, so she was ready for it.
The weather that day was rainy, so instead of doing it outside like normal, she was going to move the class into the church, where they often had classes outside. The Creekside Church in Midlothian, Texas. She arrived at the church early to set up and make sure things were ready for her class. However, when her students arrived, they found something different from what they expected, something horrifying. Missy had severe head injuries and a puncture wound to the chest. Students instantly called 911, but Missy didn’t make it. She died on the morning of April 18, 2016.
The first thing that the police do is check the security cameras within the church. Now, the outside cameras weren’t working on this night, however the inside ones were, and the footage they found was chilling! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUISKYJsJqw I’m going to share a video with all of you of some of the footage that has been released to the public with intent to help figure out who might be in the video. Alright, so as you can see the person in this video walking around the church seemingly just looking around lazily is wearing head to toe swat gear (very possibly fake) and they walk with a very distinct limp. Based on this footage the person in the picture would be between 5’2″ and 5’8″. The gender is undetermined, it is pretty hard to tell with all that swat gear on.
Now, we can assume whoever this is whom murdered Missy, since they were the only other one there…. and it seems like they were probably there with the intent to kill Missy. Nothing was stolen, and they don’t appear to be in a hurry… and other than breaking in they didn’t do any vandalization so it is unlikely that Missy just happened to interrupt something else and then got hurt as a result of catching them. Plus, since Missy had posted about the class on social media it would have been very easy for almost anyone to find out exactly where she was. So the question now becomes, WHO would want to hurt Missy?
As police investigate more, a store in the same area shares outside footage, and in the middle of the night there is a strange car driving around aimlessly through parking lots and such… could be involved but also can’t prove that it is involved. Also, there were messages found to several men through her Linkedin…. which seems like a really weird platform to just like chat. Some of the messages were to a man and they seemed… flirty hinting more towards the fact that some people suspect that Missy could have been having an affair. Some of them however were not so fun she had “Creepy messages” on the linkedin account that she had been at least creeped out by enough to show a friend. It was also found that Missy and her husband were in some financial trouble. So, financial issues, possible adultery, and the creepy messages all become part of the speculations on who could have possibly killed Missy.
Theories:
Brandon Bevers, the husband. despite him being verified as being on a fishing trip in Mississippi many many people thing that Brandon had something to do with the death of his wife.
Randy Bevers, the father in law. Randy was out of the state at the time of the murder, and it has been verified by police however many still think that his walk and appearance match too closely to the person in the video for him to be overlooked. They think that he still is involved because he was upset over how she had been fooling around on his son.
A Bevers combo, some people think that he father and son combo worked together to plan this murder. It is pretty odd that both happened to be out of town at the time, and so some say that they did the alibi on purpose while hiring a hit person to take care of Missy.
Speculations are out there that it was whomever she was cheating with’s spouse. Possibly a woman who was wearing oversized shoes and that is what cause the limp.
Someone who envied her, and took her class. In this scenario the person would have ditched the swat gear and then showed up to class as a student behaving normal, and just blended in.
Bobby Wayne Henry. He is a former police officer… admits to owning his old riot gear though claims it doesn’t fit. He had been suspended from his job as an officer due to aggravated sexual assault in 1996 and he did walk with a limp. However he was also 6’1″ and so he is a decent bit taller than the person in the video appears to be. He also worked security at her funeral… ?
